RE: EZ Pass question

It should pick up the ez pass @ the top of your windshiel, I drive tractor trailer and the company mounted ours behind the wind deflector and I have never had a problem with it.

Anyone dealt with Leo's in Md?

Was looking @ a Big Horn here and was just wondering how they might be to work with. Only in touch thru e-mail, would it be worth the drive?

RE: Fifth Wheel Structural Cracks

I just had this fixed on my 06 OpenRoad what they told me @ the body shop was the welds on the wall supports broke ( very poor weld job) they had it rewelded and put in added supports. Now I am scared if it might happen in other spots @ $1750.00 to repair this I'll be broke soon

RE: hershey rv show

I was there Fri. & Sat. my friends bought a Big Horn that is very nice, we tried to also get one but had to walk away as they offered very little on my trade. The dealer said it is not worth to much as Pilgrim is closed, I told him it's worth alot more to me then the little bit he offered. Good thing I wanted a new one and not needed one as it made it easy to walk. All in all the show seemed to be the same no great improvements.

RE: I couldn't believe my ears!!

Don't feel bad that is how they have been for years now. I used to seasonal there but got out when I could they change the rules to suit their needs. She did you a favor to see what they are like before you spent to much money there, as said before there are plenty of other places down the shore.

RE: Cedar Point

Just got back from the point and you can not use bikes roller blades or skate boards in the campground. There is a lot of traffic between the different camping loops as here is a main road to get to other hotels. We had a ball there but by the end of the week our feet were tired, We did take a day off and drove to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Have a great time @ The Point.

RE: 5ver seems so big now that it's off the lot!

I think on the highway system that if a underpass is not marked it is at least 13'6 inches tall anything lower should have the height posted, that doesn't always make it right but use a a rule of thumb. Mine is 13'2 and I drive tractor trailers for work and that is what I go by.

RE: Conway, NH / Storyland - Seeking campground ?

We used Saco River Campground it was over 12 years ago but it was a nice pace and very clean. You have to drive to Storyland but its closer to other things like shopping and resturants.

Offered a free stay

We were going to camp this weekend with friends @ a local spot but when we arrived I was told that we were not supposed to there until Oct. seems some how the reservation got put in wrong, Anyway we ended up leaving as the sites that we were offered would not work for us, they refunded our money and this morning I received a email from the owner saying how sorry he was about the mix up and will be willing to give us a free 2 night stay for our group of 3 units.
The campground was the West Chester KOA in Pa. so if in the area I would try this campground as the owner seems concerned on trying to keep the customer happy.

RE: Must choose between Eagle and Cherokee - opinions please

I would go for the Jayco, I think it is a better made unit also if dealing with White Horse Leisure they are a real good place to work with. In the long run I think you will be happier with the Jayco plus I think they still offer a 2 yeat warranty.

RE: sandusky koa/bayshore estates

I did not think it was that bad but I love the sounds of the trains, if there over the weekend they get a very large amount of a younger crowds in tents going to Cedar Point and they like to party a good bit. They come here as you can not tent camp @ Cedar Point, it justs gets very busy and a bit loud, thru the week I didn't think it was bad.

RE: some shorter trips with longer stays

I would look @ Vt. & N.H. there are some great spots there and it should be in your time frame to drive at least the lower parts of the state.
